25 October 2002 / Friday - Damn, Trenton does it again! I think you may need just a little background on this story, so that you know more or less what I am talking about.
There were these sniper killings in the DC, MD VA area for over a week. Random killings -- no real pattern that I could see. People noticed white vans and associated them with the killers -- problem is that apparently this kind of vehicle is common in those areas for services businesses. I suggested on a posting board that the killer/s may be using something entirely different and/or calling in the white van tips just to throw the police off the track.
One such tip led to a white van with two illegal aliens in the thing -- but, hey, with all that homeland security crap that has been set up since 9-11, how could there be a single illegal foreigner still left in the USA??
Then the killer/s seemed to start contacting the police -- at first by way of a tarot card/s left near the shootings -- then notes written with errors in English that may suggest that a foreigner wrote them -- references to a Jamaican music group and an American Indian fable. They wanted money -- they said they were god, and various and other sundry cryptic remarks -- and even called a Catholic priest with info about a previous robbery and killing. These were really top-notch talking heads making a big splash in the media -- and the media, as usual, ate it up! Hey, and the money was a couple million, -- and they wanted it deposited electronically in a credit card account from a card they stole at that robbery!
The cops found fingerprints on a gun magazine at the holdup local, a liquor store -- later connected them to a set of prints gotten from a teenager who had a run-in with his mom and some guy she was hanging out with. Found where this teenager was living some time ago (it looked like a trailer park in Washington state) with a 40-ish dude -- yeah, it gets stranger as we go along! The 40-ish dude was the guy his mom was sleeping with, apparently -- he had been married twice before and was considered a control freak, and I saw a report that one of his previous wives filed that stated that he sexually molested his kids, among other things. Well, they found a tree trunk riddled with bullets at this trailor -- it was frequently used for target practice, so the feds cut the entire tree stump down and searched the surroundings with metal detectors to look for bullets -- to be able to compare them with the sniper bullets and hopefully match the weapons.
At 03:58h I sent the following email to several people in my AOL address list --
I just heard on CBS radio that the shooter apparently got his car "at a car lot" in Trenton -- now I have to find a pic of the stupid car because there is something nagging at me that this car was possibly one of the ones that was parked at some point over the last few months in a prohibited area beside my place (not that I would recognize it, since I have seen sooo many this year) -- I don't know of any car lots in Trenton proper, but there is a dumb asshole across the street who thinks all the junkers he apparently sells are entitled to be parked in a limited time zone beside my place or in front of my garages -- last week alone I had to call the cops to have different cars ticketed at least 4x!
The sniper seemingly bought the thing for some $300 from some so-called car dealer in Trenton -- but since the report also says that the co-owner is this same dealer, I assume it was bought on some kind of a time payment plan?? I wonder what Trenton address they will find for this dealer? The low hundreds of South Clinton Avenue or Pearl Street?
And many times when they ticket cars I complain about, the guy who got the ticket either rips it up or just balls it up and throws it on the sidewalk near my entrance door -- this bothers me, and I always gather it (or the fragments) up, put it/them carefully in a plastic bag and eventually give it to a cop that comes over to ticket another one! I really doubt that they do anything about it, and the last cop, a couple days ago, told me that if they don't appear in court, they get a warning and a higher fine, eventually theoretically leading to a driver's license suspension.
Oh, and that kid, whose relationship with the sniper appears somewhat weird, seems to be here illegally. Can you imagine how well the government keeps track of illegals if this boy (who is now 17) was here since he was 4?!! All the Immigration Service has to do is make a sweep of a 5 block radius of my place, and they would fill up several busses and find dozens of illegally registered vehicles and drug stashes, among other things -- beside roaches!!
I find it really hilarious that Bush wants to tell Iraq how to do things, while at the same time, despite the homeland security crap he harps on constantly, the government doesn't even have a clue to what is openly happening right here just a short distance from Washington, DC!!
I wonder? Do all these politicians wear ostrich costumes on Halloween -- or just clown outfits??
OK, so as usual I stayed up until about 08h, listening to the news on the radio and checking bulletins on the Internet. A lot of conflicting stuff when it comes down to exacting details -- after all, the object is not totally objective reporting, it is always just get anything out there as fast as possible. So in spite of the above background, and the latest news, the whole thing smells fishy to me somehow.
Some truck driver reported a car with two sleeping males parked somewhere or other at a truck stop rest area.

The feds/cops/reporters showed up and effortlessly apprehended the 40-ish dude (ex-military) and his stepson(?)/whatever (from Jamaica). They had expressed anti-American / pro-terrorist comments since 9-11 -- which 9-11 is not made too clear -- was it 2001 or the first anniversary, this year? They say that 40-ish dude bought the car on 10 September 2001 at this car lot thing on my street

which was so small that I did not even remember it was there until I went fishing for it after reading in The Trentonian online that it was in the 700 block of South Clinton Avenue (I am only 4 blocks away!) Notice the name of the place -- enlarged view in the header! I wonder if they have a nationwide franchise, catering to the needs of sharpshooters?
As an aside, the problem with this area is that the homes were originally built in the early part of the 20th century for a single family -- now many have been converted into smallish apartments, 3-5 or more per property (and I will not even mention the ones that have more single rooms!). This results in a lack of parking spaces because each apartment may have more than a single car! Not a really bright way to do/plan things!
Curiously, the car lot is right across the street from another building I took a shot of for my 9-11/anthrax/post office report a little over a year ago -- it is still there and still boarded up!

For a fast breaking news scoop, the car lot owner seems to have had a ready story for the newspaper. He bought the car at a big car auction near Bordentown, NJ, but could not remember what he paid for it -- it could not have been more than $20 -- the thing had almost 150k miles on it! Anyway, he sold it to somebody he says he knows who brought in 40-ish to look for a car -- it was bought for less than $300, and is apparently co-owned, suggesting that 40-ish owes his pal (also a Jamaican!) for it yet?? The cops/feds are still searching for this 2nd person who may be in Camden or Trenton.
Now it seems that some guy in Camden remembers seeing the car in question illegally parked in his parking place -- hey, I have to find the pic folder I have of all those cars that park beside my place and maybe I will surprise myself and find the above vehicle!
I do have some questions/observations -- as usual!
Is this Jamaican guy they are still looking for also illegal? Who exactly lives at/owns/rents out the Camden address which seems to be that of the 40-ish dude and his adult Jamaican pal?
Was the illegal teenager frightened of his control-freak 40-ish pal/lover/step dad/whatever and finally figured the only way he could get out of his devious clutches was to offer the clues that led to their capture -- or just a death wish? I am sure the defense lawyers will choose the former option?
The older guy must have known about all the clues and written/phone messages because I assume that car had a radio in it?
Were they just playing cat and mouse with the authorities, trusting in the protection of Allah? Nah, it does not make sense. Maybe they made their point, ran out of ammo, got tired of the game, did not have more space in their scrapbook for more paper clippings? Or was it time to meet all those virgins they were promised when they sacrifice themselves for their radical cause? Hey, what if they found out they were both HIV+, and just wanted to go out with a bang?

Somehow I seem to suspish that there are way too many seemingly isolated localized sort-of terrorist things happening around the world to be just a simple coincidence -- that bomb in Scandinavia at a department store, bombs in Indonesia and Bali, the takeover of the Moscow theatre, among others, including the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli shit. Is this PLAN B for the BinLoco gang -- urban warfare/terrorism? Is each a signal for other terrorist cells to get their contribution activated, hoping to cripple the economies, wills and governments of their victims? Hey, then they could drag the entire world back to the Middle Ages and their somewhat devious methods of law, life, marriage and camel herding?
As I was trying to find more details about the events, I received some emails providing interesting related links --
Ujaama and Muhammad - which suggests connections between the 40-ish dude and Islamic militant training facilities in the USA!
Infowars - a site that gives a different twist to what the government and media tend to feed all the sheep, promoted by some Jones guy who I never heard of before.
The curious string running through most of these events / ideas / theories / terrorist activities is the radical Islamic connection. A current article in PRAVDA is interesting in that it provides a historical perspective on this centuries old conflict of cultures/religions. I find it incongruous because Islam does not condone this kind of terrorist activity!
A lady from Maryland emailed her pals that she had seen a local politician on TV saying how they may try to get the National Guard out to ensure that he could get to the pollls to vote for himself on election day if the sniper was not caught by then! hmmmmm Not to worry about all the people in three states who were afraid to go outside, and all the schools that were closed -- they do not count for anything? -- just make sure he is secure to vote for himself? I wonder how many votes he will get, aside from his own?
I do not think I shall develop this theme more than I have at this point. I am sure we shall hear/read loads more about this stuff, some of it conflicting/erroneous, in the coming weeks, and we can each draw our own conclusions. Good luck and have fun!

Although the above LINKS were functional when I made this report, please keep in mind that links to material on other sites may eventually disappear for one reason or another -- the only way around this common glitch is to copy the entire source page/code and mirror the info, which simply means offer the exact same page/s on my own server/s -- something that I simply have neither the time nor the inclination to do at this point. This linked info which is not my own work is provided as a data source and does not reflect my personal thoughts, which I think I am quite able to do for myself. There will always be conspiracy freaks among us who attempt to explain events backed up by dubious, out of context or fabricated data for their own agenda/s -- in any case they offer a mental exercise which may keep our neurons from getting bored! And who knows -- some of it might even be true? |
